Welcome

We believe that everyone deserves to pursue their dreams and realize their potential. We believe that our society has placed obstacles in the way of people of color, women, and those from low income backgrounds which prevent them from pursuing careers in STEM. While there are strides  being made to knock down these obstacles, these demographic groups remain largely underrepresented in STEM careers. The mission of STEMentor is to create a community that will foster the potential of any person seeking a career in the STEM fields, and provide support through dialogue, exchange of ideas, and informal mentoring.
